Flyers Canadiens

Thursday’s game, a return home for the Flyers with nine games left in the 2024-25 season, is already secondary. The team announced on Thursday morning that John Tortorella had been relieved of head coaching duties, a shakeup to the management/coaching triumvirate that had established a “New Era of Orange” just two seasons ago.

The final nine games press on, starting Thursday night against the Montreal Canadiens, a team trying to further establish their place in the playoff race.

Game time is 7 p.m.
