Flyers vs. Predators Preview: Hitting the Right Notes
While the five-game homestand may be in the rear-view mirror for the Flyers, their time away from home won’t be for long or very often for the next week or so. Wednesday presents a quick stop to face the Nashville Predators before a day off for Thanksgiving and the team’s annual Black Friday game on home ice.
The Flyers are fresh off Monday night’s disappointing shootout loss to the Vegas Golden Knights in a game they let slip away. The Predators remain near the bottom of the standings as their slow start has turned into a first quarter of struggles. The Predators have just three wins in their last 11 games with a 3-6-2 record in that time.
Game time is 8 p.m.

Morgan Frost had a strong game on Monday, his second game back in the lineup after being a scratch for four of the previous five games. Can Frost keep the offense going after a two-point night to start the week?
Roman Josi is tied for the team lead in points and has five points over his last four games, including a two-goal game against Winnipeg on Saturday.
Aleksei Kolosov gets the start for the Flyers. Kolosov got his first NHL win in his last start, making 19 saves on 21 shots in an overtime win over Chicago. That snapped a four-game losing streak to start his NHL career.
Juuse Saros is expected to start for the Predators. Saros is coming off a loss to the Devils on Monday, allowing four goals on 30 shots. He had allowed three goals or less in nine straight games prior to that.
