Flyers vs. Senators Preview: Marching On

Just 17 games remain in the 2024-25 regular season for the Flyers, each one becoming more of a formality by the day. Since making multiple moves at the trade deadline on Friday, the Flyers have lost both games, part of a four-game losing streak to start a seven-game homestand.
The homestand continues on Tuesday night against a team looking for points to further pursue a playoff spot. The Ottawa Senators, fresh off a win on Monday night, are in town.
Game time is 7 p.m.
Jamie Drysdale has continued to show signs of growth and confidence in his play lately. Drysdale has two of his four goals this season in the last five games.
Brady Tkachuk had a five-game goal streak snapped on Monday, but extended his points streak to six games with an assist. Since the start of February, Tkachuk has seven goals and four assists for 11 points in 10 games.
Ivan Fedotov gets the start for the Flyers. Fedotov made 20 saves on 22 shots in a loss to New Jersey on Sunday. In his last three starts, Fedotov has stopped 75 of 80 shots faced, a .938 save percentage.
Anton Forsberg is expected to start for the Senators. Forsberg makes his first start since Feb. 6, when he allowed four goals on 30 shots in a loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. He stopped all 10 shots faced in relief against Montreal on Feb. 22 in his last appearance.
