What will be the future of the Philadelphia Phillies? Will they be able to succeed in 2017 with the classes in free Agency? How can free Agency make a difference? What about the online MLB odds

2017 might bring some success for the Philadelphia Phillies. Now they are in a better position and if they continue to play with that determination, then you might expect some improvements and success in the next year. To achieve this end, they have included some new and promising players in their team. Maikel Franco and Odubel Herrera are two of them. Both these two players have a good record and Herrera has also earned the first All-star nod.

All the team players are young and below twenty-five and expected to perform their best in the coming years. Though Aaron Nola and Vince Velasquez had the injuries, but they are recovering and they are hopeful for the success in the next season. Shortstop J.P. Crawford has received the second position in the ranking by the MLB Pipeline; he might make his debut in the next 2017 season. Besides, you can expect the outfielder Nick Williams, right-hander Jake Thompson, and catcher Jorge Alfaro in the next season. All these players have achieved success and might perform well in 2017.

Though the team is filled with more talented and promising players, but they do not practice a lot on the free agent. And if they want to increase the possibility of success in 2017, then they need to concentrate more on the practice with the free agent to make the new players familiar with the game. That might need to spend some money, but that is worth spending.

The Philadelphia offense is not that satisfactory in 2016. It had only 510 runs and 659 OPS. They need much more to prove their efficiency and to prove themselves as a successful competitor in the years to come. There might be some sluggers like Edwin Encarnacion, Mark Trumbo, Jose Bautista, and Yoenis Cespedes. All of them are good players and can make a difference. But they will not be able to build a young squad. The free agent class can help with Kenley Jansen, Aroldis Chapman, and Mark Melancon. The team might also try Hector Neris as well.

The starting pitch was not that good this year. Some popular names like Andrew Cashner, Rich Hill, and Doug Fister are leading it and they might include Jeremy Hellickson who has done remarkably well in this year.

Under these circumstances, it might be a good decision for the Phils to play in free agency. That will give them better opportunities to prove their efficiency and might give the younger players more options to show their potential. But why should they do that? They should not spend money on the free agent class just because they have to perform in the next season. They might choose the better option. And more importantly, they might get more benefits with other projects with a less investment. For the free agent, they will have to spend more.

In the current conditions, many projects are available with better facilities and with a low investment. Philadelphia Phillies can consider any of them for the next season.
