Philadelphia Wings soar to win in Home Opener against Las Vegas Desert Dogs
Philadelphia: A New season of Lacrosse has arrived at Wells Fargo Center for the Philadelphia Wings & they had an excellent offseason that saw a good amount of changes including the head coach & they also landed the number 1 pick and took Duke Brennan O’Neill, The Wings opened their home schedule against one of the new teams in NLL in the Las Vegas Desert Dogs
The Wings get the 1st goal 30 seconds into the game from Blaze Riorden for 1-0 & the crowd at Wells Fargo Center liked the start of the game

The Wings would have a new goal song for the season in WOW by Tiesto, history would be made in the first quarter from Wings Mitch Jones who goal made it 4-3 & that would turn out to be his 250 NLL Goal of his career. The 1st quarter would end with the game tied at 4, the way the Wings looked in the 1st quarter is a lot better in how they looked especially with the ball movement. The second quarter was dominated by the Wings which saw them score 5 goals in the second quarter for a 9-4 lead into halftime.
In the second half, the Wings took off and Vegas did not know what hit them, The Number 1 overall pick Brennan O’Neill would put on a show in the second half with 4 goals
Brennan O’Neill had himself a Philly debut! He notched a 4-Goal night, adding a helper, as the @NLLwings beat the Desert Dogs 19-10.

A crowd of 6,071 would see the PhiladelphiaWings tie a franchise record for Goals in a game with 19 as they take down Vegas in the home opener.

The starting goalie for the wings, Nick Damude would make 47 saves in his 1st start with the wings in front of the home fans.

What is next:
After a very impressive start to the home schedule, the Wings will have a rematch with Vegas on Friday from Lee’s Family Forum in Las Vegas at 10:30 PM on Philly57. Their next home game at the Wells Fargo Center will be against Calgary on January 11.
