After his four-week-plus disabled list stint due to a strained left forearm, Philadelphia Phillies LHP Aaron Loup is "likely" to be activated from the 10-day disabled list on Tuesday, according to MLB.com's Todd Zolecki.
When activated, all 40 players on the Phillies' 40-man roster will be eligible to play over the club's 13 remaining games in the season. Loup also will become the Phillies' fifth southpaw pitcher on their 40-man and active roster, joining Luis Avilan, Austin Davis, Adam Morgan and Ranger Suarez.
In four appearances, two innings and 10 batters faced since acquired from the Toronto Blue Jays on July 31 for RHP Jacob Waguespack, Loup surrendered two runs on three hits, one walk, one strikeout and one hit-by-pitch.
