The Phillies continued adding pitching on minor-league deals today by signing right-handed pitcher Aaron Cook, according to Fox Sports' Jon Morosi:

Cook was an All-Star in 2008 with the Colorado Rockies. Cook spent 10 seasons with the Rockies total before spending 2012 with the Boston Red Sox. Last season Cook went 4-11 with a 5.65 ERA in 19 starts. Lifetime he is 76-79 with a 4.60 ERA.
Cook likely will get a look in Spring Training and join the AAA Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs' rotation with Rodrigo Lopez. They likely will be stashed away for an injury with the better man getting the call first.
