I previously wrote that the Phillies had to do something- anything at all to help make the Hunter Pence bobblehead night feel a little more worthwhile to fans who put out extra money so they could get the bobblehead. They added a note from Hunter Pence himself, where he got to thank the fans. But, they gave the fans one additional thing.
Included was a Carlos Ruiz Fathead. Fatheads are sticker-like wall clings of players that people can hang on a painted wall without fear of ripping off the paint. The Fathead was sponsored by Liberty Mutual, who sponsored the bobblehead.
If you missed a Pence bobblehead, you can buy one of the 30+ already on Ebay just 90 minutes after the end of the game. Or, perhaps you can get one free with purchase of a yearbook. Last week the Phillies were attaching Cliff Lee bobbleheads to Phillies yearbook sales. I would imagine if the Cliff Lee bobbleheads were attached to the yearbook, Pence sure has a shot.
So far I'm enjoying my Fathead:
