San Francisco, CA - Making just his 19th career start, Giants' right hander Chris Heston threw phenomenally against the Philadelphia Phillies (29-62) in Sunday's series finale matinee.

The Phillies have lost a franchise-record 62 games before the Mid-Summer Classic. They have the league's worst overall record, as well as road record, 11-37.

Today's game remained scoreless until the bottom of the fourth, where San Francisco exploded for four runs on four hits in opposition of Phillies' right hander Chad Billingsley.

Two batters after first baseman Buster Posey and right fielder Hunter Pence singled back-to-back, shortstop Brandon Crawford hit a RBI-single to bring home the first run of the afternoon for either side. The next batter, catcher Andrew Susac, hit his third home run of the season right out of the reach of center fielder Ben Revere, which gave the Giants a 4-0 lead.

Billingsley was pulled after five-plus innings on the mound. He surrendered four runs over ten hits, and struck out two batters. Southpaw Jake Diekman entered in relief with two runners on, but he still managed to throw a scoreless inning to keep the Phillies' deficit at four.

Philadelphia did not get on the board until there were two outs in the top of the seventh inning. With one runner on and first baseman Ryan Howard at the plate, the Phillies' slugger hit into a very catchable pop-fly. However, none of the three Giants' outfielders were able to follow through, and Franco was able to score. Howard subsequently earned his 44th run-batted-in of the season, as the play was ruled a single.

In his 40th appearance of the season, right handed reliever Ken Giles struck out the side in the eighth inning. He now has 49 strikeouts over 38.2 innings in 2015, and 113 strikeouts over 84.1 innings for his career.

Santiago Casilla recorded his 23rd save over 27 opportunities in the top of the ninth. Off of the Giants' closer, Howard picked up his second RBI-single of the game, but the Phillies failed to put together a significant rally to complete an unexpected comeback.
