Philadelphia Phillies RHP Jerad Eickhoff has suffered another setback in his comeback attempt, as the club announced on Friday he felt "a tiny bit of tingling" in his fingertips while throwing fastballs in a bullpen session in Clearwater, Florida. He will return to Philadelphia for reevaluation.

Eickhoff, 28, has not appeared in a big league game since last August due strained right shoulder and right hand nerve irritation ailments.

The Evansville, Indiana, native went 4-8 with a 4.71 ERA and 1.523 WHIP in 24 starts last season. Overall, the right-hander is 18-25 with a 3.87 ERA and 1.523 WHIP in 65 starts since debuting in August 2015.
