Phillies go for series win against Rockies

Wednesday night's 4-2 win for the Phillies was their seventh in the last eight games and sets up an opportunity for a second straight series win.

Thursday afternoon presents that chance as the Phillies (18-24) look to hand the Rockies (14-23) another loss at Coors Field.

Jorge De La Rosa picked up his first win of the season in his last start, allowing two hits over 7 1/3 shutout innings against the Dodgers. In each of his previous four starts, De La Rosa had failed to pitch more than five innings. In nine games and seven career starts against the Phillies, De La Rosa is 2-4 with a 5.67 ERA.

Freddy Galvis drops into the lead-off spot with Ben Revere getting a day off. Chase Utley takes a turn at second in the lineup while Darin Ruf gets a start in left field. Jeff Francoeur returns to the starting lineup in right field

The Rockies make many changes to the bottom of the lineup, starting Daniel Descalso at third, Michael McKenry at catcher and Brandon Barnes in left field. Ben Pauslen gets a start at first base hitting fifth.
