Albeit their myriad of injuries, the Philadelphia Phillies bullpen entered Wednesday with a MLB sixth-best 3.91 ERA. Prior to their evening game against the St. Louis Cardinals, the club released injury updates on six players: Victor Arano, Tommy Hunter, Adam Morgan, Edubray Ramos, David Robertson and Roman Quinn.

- Arano underwent an arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow on Tuesday; he has been dealing with discomfort since mid-April, and visited a doctor in Los Angeles last week. His timetable to return is unknown.
- Hunter (Grade 1 flexor strain in right elbow) threw a bullpen session on Wednesday; the veteran has been sidelined all season.
- Morgan was placed on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to May 26, with a left forearm strain; Yacksel Rios was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley as the corresponding move. Rios posted a 4.79 ERA in 20 2/3 innings this season with the IronPigs. Morgan had an MRI on Wednesday and is waiting for results; he said he has had pain for a few weeks and hopes to get ahead of the injury/recovery as soon as possible.
Adam Morgan has entered 22 games this season with the Phillies ahead or tied and held the opponent scoreless in 21 of them.

- Ramos (right shoulder stiffness) threw a bullpen session on Wednesday.
- Robertson is "close to picking up a ball," according to MLB.com's Todd Zolecki.
- Quinn (right groin strain) continues to deal with soreness, yet he took batting practice on Wednesday. Tomorrow, Quinn will leave for Florida to finish his running program; he plans to begin a rehab stint next week, according to 6abc's Jeff Skversky. Quinn has been out since April 25.
Pat Neshek also remains on the injured list with a rotator cuff inflammation.
