After last night's late night win, Adam Morgan looks to get back on track in the comfortable confines of Petco Park

Adam Morgan takes the ball this evening at Petco Park. The pitcher friendly park might be what the rookie southpaw needs to help get back on track after a shaky outing against Atlanta last week where he surrendered four earned runs over five innings. Standing in his way is a very right handed Padres line up.
Tyson Ross is on the bump for San Diego after staying in town upon being among the many of his teammates who were subjected to trade rumors for the club that would stand pat for the time being. Ross has been the Padres best pitcher this season and is coming off a victory last week against Milwaukee where he held the Brewers to two runs over six innings, striking out five.
Chase Utley returns to the lead off spot after going 1-5 last night in his return from the DL. Domonic Brown is in right field and batting sixth behind Howard. Brown is looking to continue his second half surge that has him at .317/.338/.556 with four home runs and fifteen RBIs since the break. Cesar Hernandez returns to the field tonight batting second and will play shortstop while Galvis rests.
