Today the Phillies will travel to Ed Smith Stadium to face to Baltimore Orioles. The last two days they faced the Braves and were blown out both times with scores of 1-8 and 1-9. The Phillies look to start turning their spring around, as they get closer to the regular season.

A.J. Burnett will take the ball for the Phillies in his third start of the spring. He will look to get back on the right track as he took the loss in his last two starts. Going into today’s game, Burnett is 0-2 with a 12.60 ERA in five innings with two strikeouts.

For Orioles, they will send Ubaldo Jimenez to the hill. Jimenez has only made one start this spring as he signed with Orioles late. So far he is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in two innings pitched with three strikeouts.

Game Notes:

·      Cole Hamels will threw a 20 pitch bullpen and says he back on track. McClure said he was “free and easy” which is a good sign

·      Domonic Brown is down to hitting .080 this spring

·      Sandberg likes what he has been seeing from Darin Ruf
