Interesting tweet from ESPN's Buster Olney regarding the Yankees re-signing of Ichiro Suzuki:
As Ichiro signs with the Yankees, he'll be turning down a two-year, $14 million offer from the Phillies.

I am having trouble figuring out how the Phillies would have used Suzuki. My only thought is that Domonic Brown could be on his way out. I really doubt that the Phillies would play an all-lefthanded-hitting outfield to go along with the lefthanded first base and second base.
The Phillies have been tied to lefthanded Raul Ibañez as well.
