News broke Monday that the Phillies planned to call up top prospect Maikel Franco, as the season ended at AAA Lehigh Valley. At the time, all we could do was speculate as to who the Phillies would also bring up. The Phillies released their full list today.
Matt Gelb of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports:
Sept. call-ups: Franco, Hernandez, Rupp, Garcia, Gonzalez, Adams, Gwynn Jr.

There are some notable omissions, however.
Phillippe Aumont will head home for the second September in a row. Last year Aumont was pretty vocal about it, seeming to blame everyone but himself. I would be very suprised if he is in the Phillies organization much longer, maybe even getting cut now to make room on the 40-man roster for Gwynn. Aumont was 3-3 with a 3.93 ERA at AAA Lehigh Valley, but was 0-1 with a 15.96 ERA for the big club.
Ethan Martin also heads home. A member of the 40-man roster, Martin seemed like the type of player the Phillies would want to add. At AAA Lehigh Valley, Martin was 2-1 with a 4.15 ERA in 47 2/3 innings of work. However, Martin began the season injured, so maybe rest is the plan for Martin this offseason.
B.J. Rosenberg seemed to have a bright future for the Phillies this time last season. His fastball was in the high-90s and working. However, Rosenberg is on the 7-day disabled list for the Iron Pigs. He may have been a good candidate for a recall.
