The Philadelphia Phillies open a three game series with the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field tonight. The Phillies are coming off an extra innings loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday. With the loss the Phillies were swept in the four game series.

Adam Morgan will get the call for the Phillies. Officially this will be his second career start. He started Saturday's ppostponed game against the Nationals but it was wiped from the books when the game was cancelled.
In his only other start, Morgan pitched five and two thirds giving up one run on six hits agaisnt the Cardinals. He struck out six batters while walking two.
Teheran is making his 17th start of the season for Atlanta. The Braves right hander lost his last outing in Pittsburgh going six innings allowing nine hits and six runs. Over his last seven starts, Teheran is 1-3 with 6.14 ERA. He has given up 30 earned runs in 44 inings during that span.
Lifetime he is 3-3 with a 2.92 ERA against Philadelphia.

- Ryan Howard has more career hits, runs, RBIs and home runs againts Atlanta than any other team he has played
- 3B Maikel Franco has cooled off lately. In his last seven games, Franco is hitting just .219 with no home runs and five RBIs
- This is the first of a ten game road trip. The Phillies will play three in Atlanta followed by four in Los Angeles and three in San Francisco prior to the All Star break.
- Philadelphia remains the only team with at least 50 losses on the season
