The first round of All-Star voting is in for the National League, and the Phillies are, as you might expect, not among the top vote-getters. The Phillies starting eight has failed to produce consistently; even the mostly-hot Freddy Galvis has cooled lately. With a very poor, much-publicized April, Chase Utley's usual voting contingent has even trailed off.
Ryan Lawrence of the Daily News reports:
The first round of NL All-Star balloting results are out. No Phillies player is in the top five at any infield position (or top 15 in OF).

Of course, the Phillies players on the ballot include Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs Cody Asche and Domonic Brown.
