With the Phillies in rebuild mode, the team is looking for some short term, low-risk solutions to help them get through this process. They have already agreed to terms with Jerome Williams and Wandy Rodriguez and according to CSNPhilly, the Phils may have another veteran arm on their minds.
Also hearing buzz that Phillies are poking around on free agent pitcher Aaron Harang. Phils have been looking for short term pitching fit.

Harang went 12-12 with a 3.57 ERA in a nice bounce back year with the Braves. He gave up two runs or less in eight of his first ten starts last season and could be a smart move for the Phillies as they continue to work their way through this phase.
