Last week, Philadelphia Phillies prospect Roman Quinn, currently with the Double A Reading Fightin' Phils, was placed on the seven-day disabled list with an oblique injury. At the time, his injury recovery seemed to lack a timetable. Mike Drago of the Reading Eagle updated Quinn's injury recovery today, though still seemed to suggest that Quinn is going to be out for an indefinite period of time.
Phillies have sent Reading CF Roman Quinn to Florida to rehab his latest injury, an oblique strain. No timetable for return, could be weeks

Quinn's oblique strain is just the latest injury to afflict the 23-year-old outfielder. Quinn, who MLB Pipeline says is the seventh best prospect in the Phillies farm system, was limited to just 58 games in 2015 with a hip flexor injury. Earlier this month, he missed a series of games due to hamstring tightness.
Perhaps the sad part about Quinn's latest injury is that he was hitting .288 and had 25 stolen bases before suffering this injury, leading many to wonder if he could ultimately be a part of the next contending Phillies team.
