After tossing eight innings of one-run ball against the Miami Marlins last week, the Philadelphia Phillies apparently believe that the division rival Marlins are a serious candidate to acquire Jeremy Hellickson.
According to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports, the Phillies are scouting the Marlins' GCL team as they look for a potential return for the 29-year-old:

As mentioned above, Hellickson was dominant in a win over the Marlins last Wednesday. Ironically, he is next scheduled to start Monday against those same Marlins. Rosenthal's tweet doesn't make note of whether any potential trade is believed to be imminent.
Hellickson, who is in his first season with the Phillies, is 7-7 with a 3.84 ERA and a 4.21 FIP (per Fangraphs) in 2016. He can become a free-agent at the end of the season, making him an interesting trade candidate for the rebuilding Phillies and someone that could be a rental for the Marlins, who are currently second in the National League East and leading the National League's second wild-card spot.
Saturday, Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reported that reliever Mike Dunn's name had come up in trade talks between the two teams. Dunn, 31, wouldn't be the only piece coming back if he was involved in a trade, but could be an interesting name if he came back with a lower level minor leaguer with upside.
