PHILADELPHIA —  The Philadelphia Phillies (56-63) extended their win streak to four games and secured their fifth series sweep of the season with their 7-6 victory Sunday afternoon against RHP Tyler Chatwood and the Colorado Rockies (56-62) at Citizens Bank Park.

Game Notes:

  • Phillies left fielder Jimmy Paredes secured nearly half of the team's seven RBIs, three, with a RBI single, solo home run and RBI double in the bottom of the second, fourth and fifth innings, receptively.
  • Phillies starter Adam Morgan — who lost seven straight decisions entering the series finale — exited early in the fourth inning after being struck by a line drive in the left forearm. He allowed two runs on five hits and a walk over 58 pitches.
  • Second baseman Cesar Hernandez extended his streak of reaching base safely to 21 straight games with his fifth inning RBI infield single to short.
  • Despite allowing a two-run single in the ninth to catcher Nick Hundley, which brought the Rockies within one run, closer Jeanmar Gomez successfully picked up his 31st save of the season. He ranks 19th on the Phillies' all-time saves list.

The Phillies' nine-game homestand will resume Tuesday evening against the Los Angeles Dodgers as second baseman Chase Utley returns to Citizens Bank Park for the first time since his August 2015 trade. Right-handers Kenta Maeda and Vince Velasquez will square off (Time: 7:05 p.m.; TV: CSN; Radio: SportsRadio 94 WIP).
