After adding nine prospects to their farm system earlier in the week — in the first two days and 10 rounds of the 2019 MLB Draft by selecting four pitchers and five position players — the Philadelphia Phillies selected 30 more on Wednesday in Rounds 11 through 40.

Among the Phillies’ selection of players on Wednesday, they drafted a total of five outfielders, six infielders, eight right-handed pitching and 11 southpaws.

The Phillies did not have a second-round pick on Monday, as it was forfeited when they signed Bryce Harper this past offseason.
