Phillies Send A.J. Burnett to the Hill in Attempt to Salvage the Series

Tonight the Phillies will look to salvage a four game home and home series against the Toronto Blue Jays. Phillies will send their best and most consistent starter this season, A.J. Burnett. Burnett is 2-1 with an outstanding 2.06 ERA. He will be opposed by Blue Jays knuckleballer, R. A. Dickey. Dickey hasn’t had the greatest season so far going 2-3 with a 5.01 ERA, but knuckleballers have given the Phillies trouble in the past.

Game Notes:

  •  Shawn Camp was out righted to AAA, and Luis Garcia was recalled to replace him. Garcia has gone 2-0 with 0.00 ERA and six saves in 11 appearances for the Iron Pigs.
