PHILADELPHIA -The medical and performance staff of the Philadelphia Phillies has signed an agreement with CoachMePlus to provide their applied sports science platform, according to a team press release.
CoachMePlus works with professional and collegiate sports teams to manage their athletes’ sports performance data. A company grounded on expertise, innovation and client services, CoachMePlus is the go-to system for more than 50 teams across the NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA, NCAA, MLS, CFL and military. With over 25,000 athletes and over 8 million data points, CoachMePlus is the industry leader in applied in sports science.
Founded in 2012, CoachMePlus, helps to create a "centralized management system for athlete performance data" and provides " unique predictive performance analytics to help monitor players’ health status," according to their website.

CoachMePlus President and Co-Founder Kevin Dawidowicz said they are excited to have Philadelphia join their "growing list of MLB clients."
“We are now working with some of the most forward-thinking coaches in the sports science industry," said Dawidowicz. "No two teams use our system the same way. The Phillies’ specific approach to monitoring their athletes on a daily basis will now be enhanced with the integration of the CoachMePlus system.”
This announcement comes six days after the Phillies hired former YouTube Quantitative Analyst and Statistician Andy Galdi as their director of baseball research and development. With new management in the front office, it definitely appears the Phillies are heading into a new direction in 2016.
The new software will be open to use "throughout the organization," including players, coaches, athletic trainers and front office personnel.
