Should I believe it and pay? Or should I be annoyed that three games out they are asking for my money? Really, it does not matter because this money would be applied to next year and I'm going to pay that anyway. There are a couple of interesting points in this:
- The NLDS assumes just two home games (that they would not be the favorite)
- There is no bill for the one-game play-in. This means the Phillies assume that they are not getting the second Wild Card.
So, at least they are not over-billing.
The invoice is cheaper than last season, but I do have the cheapest section in the part. I remember paying $125 for the NLCS and this year it is only $96.00. Payments are due on September 24th. Of course, we could know the Phillies are eliminated by then, potentially. But we shall see.
I am accepting donations towards my bill. Thanks.
