Phillies Take Game 2 of Nationals Series

The Phillies will at least half the series against the
Nationals with a win tonight. Hamels was able to move up to 4-11.

Cole Hamels pitched well until the 8th.  He was able to work his way out of a bases
loaded situation without giving up a run. He gave up 6 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, 4
strikeouts, and 1 homer. Bastardo came into the game in the 9th.  He went one inning, allowed 1 hit, 1 run, 1
walk, and had 1 strikeout.

In the second inning, Hamels gave up a 1 run homerun to
Jayson Werth. 1-0, Nationals.

Chase Utley doubled on a line drive to Harper in the 4th.
Brown is able to single on a line drive to Werth. Utley scores, and Brown is
able to advance to 3rd on a throwing error by Suzuki.  1-1, tie.

Ben Revere and Jimmy Rollins singled in the top of the 6th.
Utley reaches on a force attempt, but a missed catch error by Desmond and
LaRoche allow Revere to score and Rollins to advance to 3rd.  2-1, Phillies. Michael Young doubles on a line
drive to Harper. Rollins and Utley score, Young is out at 3rd. 4-1,
Phillies. Delmon Young walks. Mayberry comes in to replace Young on the bases.

Ramos doubles on a fly ball to Mayberry, scoring Rendon in
the 9th. 4-2, Phillies.
