Perhaps because of popular demand, the Philadelphia Phillies plan to wear their power blue throwback jerseys multiple times at Citizens Bank Park during the 2018 season.
Matt Gelb of The Athletic says the team plans to wear the 1970s/1980s era throwbacks, which traditionally have been worn on the road, for select home games this upcoming season:

For the past two seasons, the Phillies have worn their alternate red jerseys, pictured below, for business person's special games at Citizens Bank Park. For the past 10 years, the team has worn their universally liked cream alternates for Sunday afternoon games. Given how popular the cream alternate jerseys are, and that the red jerseys have drawn, at best, a lukewarm response in two years, it will be interesting to see if the Phillies use the power blue jerseys instead of the red alternates.
It's not immediately clear what games the Phillies plan to wear their powder blue alternates for. It's also unclear if the team will wear any special jersey patches or have any modern twists on the classic jerseys.
