Another week of Flyers hockey down and once again it's time for us to give out our Player and Play of the Week honors.

It started as a slow week, as the Flyers lost, 5-2, to the Columbus Blue Jackets and 3-2 in a shootout to the Buffalo Sabres. But this weekend, the Flyers rebounded with two huge wins, 3-2 in a shootout over the Nashville Predators and 3-2 over the Washington Capitals.

Michael Del Zotto is our Player of the Week. In the Flyers four games this week, Del Zotto scored two goals and added two assists for four points, including the game-winning goal in Sunday's win over the Capitals.

Our Play of the Week honor is split between Jake Voracek, Wayne Simmonds and Rob Zepp. The three players shined in Saturday's shootout win over the Predators, with Voracek and Simmonds scoring and Zepp making two key saves.

The Flyers will return to the ice on Tuesday night when they face the Carolina Hurricanes. They remain on the road on Thursday as they face the Toronto Maple Leafs before returning home on Saturday night to face the New York Rangers.
