After starting 4-2-1  on the season in seven games, the Flyers were quickly brought back down to Earth with a pair of regulation losses and an overtime loss this week, two to the Sabres and one to the Devils.

There weren't many positives to take away, but we will try to as we pick another Player and Play of the Week.

Our Player of the Week is Brayden Schenn. In a week where the Flyers tallied just five goals, Schenn played a factor in three, scoring two goals in the Flyers overtime loss to Buffalo on Tuesday and getting an assist on the only goal of the game for the Flyers on Thursday against the Devils.

Our Play of the Week is on one of Schenn's goals, but really is a total team effort in the final minute of regulation. Down by a goal, the Flyers cycle the puck and a long shot by Claude Giroux was deflected by Schenn for a game-tying goal that helped the Flyers grab a point in the standings.

The Flyers are back in action on Monday night when they face the Vancouver Canucks and have three more games later in the week, facing Edmonton on Tuesday, Calgary on Thursday and Winnipeg on Saturday.
