Report: Brent Celek visiting Lions today

Yesterday news broke from Adam Schefter of ESPN that former Eagles' running back LeGarrette Blount was planning on visiting the Detroit Lions on Friday.
Now NFL Insider Adam Caplan is reporting that former Eagles tight end Brent Celek is spending his Thursday visiting the same Detroit Lions:

Celek was released by the Eagles prior to the start of the new league year so that the Eagles could get under the salary cap. He finished his Eagles' career with 4,998 receiving yards, good enough for eighth on the team's all-time list. He is also fourth in receptions (398) and 11th in touchdowns (31).
The Lions cut tight end and former first round pick Eric Ebron earlier this week, leaving a starting role open in the Motor City.
The Lions and new head coach Matt Patricia – who lost to the Eagles in Super Bowl LII – is clearly attracted to the players who helped lead the Eagles to their first Super Bowl victory.
