This morning has been quite the whirlwind for the Eagles, with various reports surfacing about the condition of Byron Maxwell's shoulder. The Dolphins were even close to calling off the deal, but the team has since cleared Maxwell on his physical and according to the cornerbacks' agent, he's ready to go.

Maxwell reportedly told Dolphins doctors that he couldn't do push-ups or bench press, even after he indicated to the Eagles at the end of the season that he was fine.
Despite all this, it seems as if the compensation will go as planned with the Eagles moving from the 13th pick in the first round to eighth, according to Chris Wittyngham of 790AM radio in Miami. Maxwell, along with Kiko Alonso, will join a Dolphins team that has already added Mario Williams to their defense from the Bills this offseason.
