Early in the Eagles coaching search process, Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson emerged as a candidate. He was even reported as a leading candidate when the Eagles only interview to that point had been Duce Staley.
The conflicting report at the very least confirmed that Pederson wasn't going to interview before several other candidates — Pat Shurmur on Monday, Adam Gase on Tuesday and Ben McAdoo on Thursday.
You can now officially add Pederson to the list again. Pederson will interview with the Eagles on Sunday, following the Chiefs Saturday afternoon game against the Houston Texans, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.
ESPN's Adam Caplan reported on Wednesday on NFL Insiders that the Eagles were going to interview Pederson.

Pederson was the Eagles quarterback coach in 2011 and 2012 and has served under Andy Reid in Kansas City since 2013. A former quarterback who played with the Eagles in 1999, the 47-year-old has been described as someone who has the right mindset to take over as a head coach and would certainly understand the city of Philadelphia, having played and coached there already.
The Eagles coaching search continues on Thursday with McAdoo's interview, and Gase is expected to get a second interview over the weekend. Pederson's interview would have to wait until after Saturday's game and if the Chiefs win, the Eagles will need permission to conduct the interview before bringing Pederson in.
