And to put a bow on it, DE Chris Long has agreed to terms with the Eagles, source says.

Ian Rapoport followed up Garafolo's report with the length and suspected terms of the deal:
It's a 1-year deal similar to the $2.4M he made last year with #Patriots. Smart locker room signing https://t.co/vCqBIui4Cp

Long was taken second overall by the St. Louis Rams in the 2008 NFL draft.
Earlier this offseason the Eagles released veteran defensive end/3-4 OLB and fan-favorite Connor Barwin to ease the cap situation. If the terms reported by Rapoport are correct then the Eagles will get better value in Long, who has 58.5 career sacks and has only missed 14 of a possible 147 career games.
Long fits Jim Schwartz's system better than Barwin, with his whole career being as a 4-3 defensive end. Long joins Brandon Graham, Vinny Curry, and Marcus Smith as the team's defensive ends heading into the 2017 season.
Long is one year removed from winning the Super Bowl with the New England Patriots.
