Now that Doug Pederson's hiring has been made official, the Eagles are officially hard at work on hiring his coordinators.
Two reports indicate the Eagles have filled both spots.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Eagles will hire Frank Reich as the offensive coordinator. According to Jamie Apody of 6ABC, there is a strong possibility that the Eagles will name Jim Schwartz defensive coordinator.
Reich was the offensive coordinator for the San Diego Chargers for two seasons after serving as the quarterback coach for the 2013 season. He is the son of Frank Reich Sr. a center and linebacker for Penn State from 1953 to 1955 and a former draft pick of the Eagles. Reich is from Lebanon, Pa.
Schwartz was the defensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills in 2014 after serving as the head coach of the Detroit Lions from 2009 to 2013, going 29-51 in five seasons. Prior to that, he was the defensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans from 2001 to 2008.
The Eagles are set to introduce Pederson at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m.
