Philadelphia 76ers rookie Joel Embiid left Friday night's game with a left knee contusion and will miss the next two games against the Clippers and Bucks. While Brett Brown didn't indicate if the big man would be good to go on Friday against Houston, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reports that Embiid will indeed return against the Rockets, which was moved to an 8:00 p.m. start on ESPN.

“I knew it was OK. I just landed the wrong way,” he said after the Sixers' 93-92 win over the Trail Blazers. “I’m great. The knee’s fine. They did an MRI and stuff, everything looked good.”
Embiid was just named Eastern Conference Player of the Week after averaging 22 points on 47.2 percent shooting, 10.3 rebounds and an NBA-leading 3.67 blocks per game in three games during January 16-22.
