Amid all of the madness this morning surrounding the Eagles and Dolphins' trade involving Byron Maxwell was this juicy nugget from Eagles beat writer Les Bowen:
Source: Maxwell went to Miami for physical, told Dolphins’ doc he couldn’t do bench press or pushups. Told Eagles he was fine at end of year

And then this other nugget from WIP's Howard Eskin:
Byron Maxwell told #eagles his shoulder fine after season. Even to point he bench pressed in off season. Told #Dolphins he was hurt #nuts

So, either Maxwell lied to the Eagles about the severity of his shoulder injury, or he re-aggregated it during off season workouts. Either way you cut it, it's downright bizarre.
The fact that Maxwell, who had essentially cut all ties between himself and Philadelphia, went into his physical and blatantly admitted to his prospective employer's top physician that he couldn't do those basic exercises is mind-boggling, especially for a guy who went as far as to change his his Twitter bio before the deal was official.

As of now, the outcome of all this is anybody's guess. It's still likely that the deal gets done, but the original terms, such as the two sides swapping first-round picks, is in jeopardy.
In the mean time, I'll just leave this here:
