The Philadelphia Eagles looked out of sync in many aspects of the game during Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay. One of the more worrisome positions, though, became even more of an issue early in the match-up. Already down Alshon Jeffery and Mack Hollins, the Eagles now face the problem of losing another wide receiver, perhaps for the rest of the season. Veteran wideout Mike Wallace injured his ankle in the first half on Sunday and was seen after the game in a walking boot.
According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Wallace will undergo more tests on Monday, but the injury is a potential season-ending one.

Although Wallace had not made an impact over his first two games in Eagles green, the loss makes the wide receiver position even more slim than it already was. There's an expectation that Alshon Jeffery could return as early as week three against the Colts. If not, the Eagles receiving corps will be limited to Nelson Agholor, Kamar Aiken, Shelton Gibson and DeAndre Carter.
At the beginning of the season, the wide receiving unit of Jeffery, Wallace, Hollins and Agholor looked strong, but at this point in time, three of the four are sidelined.
Doug Pederson will address the media at noon on Monday, where we may receive official news on the severity of Wallace's injury and an updated timetable for Alshon Jeffery's return.

Tests revealed that Mike Wallace suffered a fractured fibula on Sunday.
