Will they or won't they? Despite many reports that the Phillies have set the asking price for starting pitcher Cole Hamels so high that Hamels is really not available for trade, the Phillies may be starting to face the fact that in order to build the team for the future they will have to give up their most tradeable asset.
Jon Morosi of Fox Sports says that the Phillies have made Hamels available. The asking price, though, is pretty high.
Sources: Phillies have made Cole Hamels available on trade market, although price remains high. Dodgers interested. @FOXSports1

The Dodgers have some pieces that could interest the Phillies including outfield prospect Joc Pederson, shortstop Corey Seager, and pitcher Julio Urias. Pitcher Zach Lee, whose stock may not be what it once was, could be of interest to the Phillies.
The Dodgers are not keen on trading their top prospects, but a younger, controllable pitcher like Hamels could be worth it to them. The Dodgers are more than capable of taking on Hamels' salary.
