The Philadelphia 76ers reportedly acquired F/C Mike Muscala on Thursday evening in a three-team deal that is also set to send Justin Anderson to Atlanta and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot to Oklahoma City.
An hour or so after news broke about this deal, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the deal may not be done for another few days because the Sixers were working on another deal.
Pompey looks to have found out some more information on said deal and is now reporting the Philadelphia and Cleveland are discussing a deal involving Jerryd Bayless and Kyle Korver.
According to a league source, the #Sixers have had discussions about trading Jerryd Bayless to the #Cleveland #Cavs for Kyle Korver.

Marc Stein of the New York Times reports that while a deal is possible, it is still far from certain.
The Sixers signed Bayless to a three-year, $27 million deal back in July 2016 and wrist injuries, a crowded roster and inconsistent play led him down the road to a full-time DNP-Coach's Decision role for the majority of this past season. In just 42 games since being signed in 2016, Bayless 8.1 points on 40.8 percent shooting.
Meanwhile, Korver would be an interesting fit for the Sixers. Offensively, he brings a very similar package to JJ Redick, but is also somewhat of a defensive liability. That being said, his scoring punch off the bench and veteran leadership would be huge for this team since they have found no luck star-hunting this offseason.
The Sixers acquired Korver on draft night in 2003 and he's since played for four other teams since departing Philadelphia during the 2007-08 season. This past season for Cleveland, Kyle averaged 9.2 points per game while shooting 43.6 percent from beyond the arc. Korver has a career 43.1 percent shooting percentage from three-point range in 1,104 NBA games.
Bayless is entering the final year of his contract set to make $8.75 million while Korver will make $7.5 million. Korver is under contract for 2019-20 for $7.5 million, but it is only partially guaranteed for $3.4 million until July 7, 2019.
