Last week ESPN's Chad Ford and Marc Stein reported the Sixers were going to shop both Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor around the league. Have they found a suitor? According to a report Thursday evening, the Sixers may be in discussions to move Noel.

Shams Charania of The Vertical reports that a deal is being discussed that includes Noel and Jeff Teague:

Atlanta and Philadelphia are discussing a possible trade centered on Hawks guard Jeff Teague and 76ers center Nerlens Noel, league sources told The Vertical.

The sides have discussed the deal recently, but an agreement isn’t imminent, sources said.

Teague is 27 years old and approaching the last year of his deal in 2016-17 he averaged 15.6ppg and 5.9apg.

With the young and upcoming Dennis Schroder behind him the Hawks will have to make a fast decision . There were reports this past trade deadline that the Sixers tried to make a deal for Schroder and they had quote considered him a "Max player". Apparently things have changed and the Sixers have zeroed in on Teague the former All-Star.

Noel would be a tough pill to swallow if he indeed were to be traded, Noel averaged 11.1 points per game and 8.1 rebounds per game for a team that won only ten games last season but it was obvious that he and Okafor could not play together.

While it is clear Okafor is the better scorer, Noel has the potential to be an elite defender and with Joel Embiid set to return next season the Sixers are in search of which guy they can move for the best deal. While Teague would be an huge upgrade over the likes of Ish Smith and Isaiah Cannon, would he be the willing to commit to Philadelphia beyond this upcoming season?

The NBA rumors will only increase as the NBA Draft approaches June 23rd.
