The NBA Draft is set for tonight on ESPN and the Sixers are still in limbo with what exactly they are going to do with their draft picks. Are they planning on standing pat with the No. 10 overall pick or are they planning something to move up or possibly move down?
A report earlier Thursday indicated that the Sixers had made offers of the No. 10 and 26 picks along with Markelle Fultz to move up into the Top 5 to grab Michael Porter Jr., but the talks stalled due to concerns about the health of his back.
Now, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, there are teams interested in Kentucky guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander that would need to trade in order to grab him. The Sixers are now in talks of trading down and out of the Top 10.
Among the teams still active in trying to trade higher into lottery: Dallas, Chicago, Cleveland and the Clippers, league sources tell ESPN. Philadelphia’s No. 10 pick is in play, a target for teams pursing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Otherwise, he could go No. 11 to Charlotte.

With thoughts that SGA would most likely get picked up by the Hornets at No. 11, trading with the Sixers wouldn't be that bad of a draw.
Last night, it was reported that the Sixers were "very interested" in drafting Texas Tech guard Zhaire Smith with the No. 10 overall selection. Smith is a player that will most likely fall out of the Top 10 and anywhere between 11 and 16 or 17 if the Sixers believe they can still draft him in that territory.
Trading back also means the Sixers could have the possibility of acquiring future draft picks, which is something that seems a little more appealing than drafting in the current situation.
