With the Flyers leading, 4-0, in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres, Zac Rinaldo laid a heavy hit on Chad Ruhwedel.

Rinaldo has a history of suspensions and fines, which guaranteed some form of disciplinary action.

The NHL has issued a four-game suspension to Rinaldo, which amounts to the remainder of the regular season for the Flyers.

Rinaldo had scored his second goal of the season in the second period of Sunday's game. He also has two assists for a total of four points.
