The Sixers put together a strong effort against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night, but ended up losing by seven. With the Cavs leading by one late in the fourth, LeBron James missed a three and the rebound bounced out to the perimeter, where Robert Covington chased it down. He was unable to obtain possession though and ended up toppling into the stands. Dwayne Wade ended up converting on the Cavs second chance, but the game was put on hold for a few minutes as Covington remained on down.
Apparently RoCo ended up landing on a sharp metal object off the court during his fall. Covington was eventually helped off the court by his teammates and after the game, and it was later revealed that the injury was to his lower back. He'll make the trip with the team to New Orleans.
Robert Covington has a lower back contusion. He is making the trip with the Sixers to New Orleans tonight, but his status for tomorrow's game has not been officially determined.

Covington had a very good game, scoring 19 points on 7-for-10 shooting and 5-for-7 from beyond.
