Yes, the same Colorado Rockies who in recent years have given opportunities to Adam Eaton and then Jamie Moyer will give Oswalt a chance to show he can pitch in the major leagues.
2012 was not a good year for Oswalt, who went 4-3 with a 5.80 ERA. The signing reportedly was a point of contention between Rangers President Nolan Ryan and General Manager Jon Daniels. Quite possibly Oswalt's failure may have contributed to Ryan's reduced role with the club.
Lifetime, Oswalt is 163-96 with a 3.28 ERA.
