Ryan Howard will return to Philladelphia tomorrow for testing on his left Achilles. According to the Phillies, if all goes well and Howard passes the tests he will begin his rehab assignment in Lakewood on Thursday. He will have 20 days from the start of the assisgnment to be activated meaning he will be back no later than July 18th, assuming he doesn't experience a setback.
With the return of Chase Utley tomorrow and the news that Ryan Howard may be back before the All Star break, Phillies fans finally have something to be cheerful about.
