The beaten and battered Flyers continue to deal with injuries and the list got longer on Monday.
In Monday's 7-4 loss to the Islanders, defensemen Nick Schultz and Carlo Colaiacovo suffered injuries. Both are listed as questionable for Tuesday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins with upper-body injuries.
While there are no timetables on the injuries, given the Flyers week off from game action after tomorrow, the Flyers don't seem confident that either defenseman will be ready. They have recalled defensemen Brandon Manning and Oliver Lauridsen from Lehigh Valley for tomorrow's game.
Schultz and Colaiacovo join Braydon Coburn and Nick Grossmann among the Flyers regular defensemen out with injury. Goalie Steve Mason and center Scott Laughton are also out dealing with injury.
The Flyers play their final game before the All-Star break on Tuesday night against the Penguins. The opening face-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
