The Flyers are without Sean Couturier for Game 4, but the forward's career year offensively and continued success defensively garnered some recognition for an NHL award.
Couturier was named a finalist for the Selke Trophy, given to the best defensive forward. Anze Kopitar of the Los Angeles Kings and Patrice Bergeron of the Boston Bruins were also named finalists.
Couturier scored 31 goals and 76 points, both career highs, this season, while ranking third in the NHL with a plus-34 rating. Couturier also ranked second in overall ice time and third in average ice time per game among all NHL forwards this season.
In addition, Couturier had 14 power-play points and six game-winning goals.
Couturier also currently leads the Flyers in points in the playoffs with three, all coming in Game 2.
The Flyers are currently in action against the Penguins in Game 4 of their playoff series.
