Baseball is still going strong with the MLB playoffs in full swing, but minor league baseball continues throughout the fall with the Arizona Fall League.

The league is put together with a slew of minor leaguers from all different MLB teams, and the Scottsdale Scorpions received a member with a whole lot of star-power. Tim Tebow is making that baseball debut for the team.

Tebow, 29, was signed by the New York Mets earlier last month, after showcasing his baseball talents in front of several major league scouts.

Joining Tebow on the fall league Scorpions team is seven members of the Phillies. Headlined by Scott Kingery and Mitch Walding, two of Reading's finest, the Phils' prospects will try their hand alongside Tebow in the Arizona Fall League, with games starting today.

Kingery is the 13th ranked prospect on MLB.com's list of prospects in the Philadelphia Phillies organization. He was called up to Double-A Reading in the middle of this season after spending time with Single-A Clearwater.

Other Phillies on the roster include right-handed pitchers Victor Arano and Miguel Nunez, left-handers Brandon Leibrandt and Jeff Singer, as well as outfielder Aaron Brown.

Greg Bird, one of the Yankees' top prospects, will also be teaming up with Tebow and company on the Scottsdale roster.

The Fall League season slate starts up today, as the Scorpions play their first game at 2:35p.m. EST. It will be interesting to see how the Phillies' prospects will fit in with Tim Tebow as he begins his first real minor league baseball test.
