Very positive news regarding Sixers point guard Ben Simmons and his foot injury. He had his third scan of the year, and this time it came back healthy.
Simmons has been cleared to resume training, as well as an increased on-court workload.
Simmons was on Uninterrupted on Tuesday night to address the scan, and well, it might be the best news you'll hear all day.

Earlier in the day, Simmons tweeted out a mysterious message that was thought to be this very news, but his address about the subject confirmed that that was exactly what he was talking about.

Whether or not Simmons will play in the Summer League for the Sixers is a whole other question. Brett Brown addressed the Summer League question to the media on Monday.
"I think it would be good if he did, but I wouldn't say it's a prerequisite he has to play. I think still his health and the judgement of his health rules the day."
Ultimately, whether or not he plays in the league during the summer is Simmons' choice to make. Jessica Camerato of CSN Philly addressed the situation with Michael Barkann on Tuesday.
The Sixers used their number-one draft selection on Simmons in 2016. He played a successful summer league before being sidelined for the regular season after suffering a Jones fracture on the final day of training camp.
